The card looks up the same name everywhere. A match means a profile with that name exists there, not that it is the same person: check the bio and links. Platforms that do not publish a number return null, never 0.

How it works

This page calls GET /v1/creator/card, which runs the profile endpoint of each platform for the same handle and returns one row per platform, each in the unified schema. Here it asks Hacker News, Lobsters, DEV, GitLab, Bluesky, Hugging Face, Lemmy, Mastodon (mastodon.social) and crates.io. You pay only for the platforms that answer, one credit each, and a miss costs nothing. The curl under the result is the exact call, and 1,000 free credits cover more than a hundred cards.

Two things to keep in mind. The card looks up the same name everywhere, so a hit shows that a profile with that name exists, not that it belongs to the same person. And a platform that does not publish a number gives null, never 0: Hacker News has no follower counts, for example, so the follower total only adds up the platforms that report one. Bluesky needs a full handle such as name.bsky.social; when you type a bare name, the tool makes one extra call with .bsky.social added. See multi-platform search and creator card for the parameters.
