Effective date: 29 September 2026
These Terms govern your use of Onekey, a unified API that returns public data from social and developer platforms in one JSON schema. Onekey is operated by Onekey, [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Onekey", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using an API key, you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Refund & Credits Policy and, where it applies, our Data Processing Addendum.
1. Who can use Onekey
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you sign up for a company, you confirm you can bind it. You must give accurate account details and keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your keys.
2. The service
Onekey fetches publicly available data from third-party platforms and public APIs, and returns it in a normalised format. Some endpoints are marked beta. Beta endpoints may change, break or be withdrawn without notice, and are excluded from any reliability target.
Onekey is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any platform whose data it returns. Platform names are trademarks of their owners.
3. Credits and payment
Onekey is priced in credits. New accounts receive 1,000 free credits. Credits do not expire, are not transferable, and have no cash value. See the Refund & Credits Policy for details.
Payments are handled by our payment provider, which may act as merchant of record. Their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices may exclude taxes, which are added where required.
4. Your responsibilities
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular you are responsible for:
- having a lawful basis for collecting, storing and using any personal data you get from Onekey;
- complying with the terms of the source platforms and with all laws that apply to you and your use case;
- telling us promptly if you learn of a security problem or misuse of your account.
5. Data you receive
Onekey returns data that originates from third parties. We do not own it, we do not verify it, and we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, current or lawful to use for your purpose. Responses may be cached. You should honour deletion and takedown signals: if we tell you that an item has been removed, you must delete your copies. See the Public Data Notice.
6. Our rights
We may rate-limit, throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, threaten the service, create legal risk, or run a negative credit balance. Where practical we will warn you first, but we may act immediately for serious or urgent cases.
We may remove or block any data, source, or endpoint at any time, for example after a takedown request or a change in a platform's rules.
7. Intellectual property
Onekey's software, documentation, design and schema are ours or our licensors'. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the API according to these Terms. Do not copy, resell or white-label the API as a competing service, or use it to build a competing data product, without a written agreement.
Data returned belongs to its original owners and is subject to their rights. Nothing here transfers any rights in that data to you.
8. Service levels and availability
Onekey is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime commitment on free and standard credit packs. See the SLA & Status page.
9. Disclaimers
The service and all data are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Source platforms may change or block access at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill;
- our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim and (b) [AMOUNT].
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and compensate us against third-party claims, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or the AUP, your use of the data, or your products built on Onekey.
12. Termination
You can stop using Onekey and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access under section 6. On termination unused credits are handled as set out in the Refund & Credits Policy. Sections that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least [30] days' notice by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [CITY], India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. [Optional: arbitration clause to be settled with counsel.]
