Webhook

An HTTP request the service sends to your URL when something happens.

What it means

A webhook reverses the usual direction: instead of you polling, the service calls you. That saves requests but means you must accept and verify incoming calls.

How Onekey handles it

A monitor re-runs a saved call every 15 minutes to 24 hours and posts a signed event to your https URL when its alert rules fire. Success is any 2xx within 5 seconds; redirects are not followed. Failed deliveries retry up to 6 attempts, and after 10 consecutive failures the webhook is switched off (runs continue).
