MCP (Model Context Protocol)

Also called: Model Context Protocol

An open protocol that lets AI assistants call tools and read data from other services.

What it means

MCP defines how an AI assistant discovers tools on a server, what their inputs look like and how results come back, so one integration works across assistants.

How Onekey handles it

Onekey runs a hosted MCP server at /mcp next to the REST API, authenticated with your API key as a bearer token or x-api-key. It is a thin layer over the REST routes, so billing, caching, refunds, rate limits and per-key limits behave exactly as they do there.
